James McLean

James McLean is a Workers' Compensation attorney and the newest member of the Washington Law Center legal team. Born in Texas and raised in Alaska, where his parents met while working in the fishing industry, James came to Seattle to study law at the University of Washington School of Law, graduating in 2025. He also holds a degree from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2021. At Washington Law Center, James provides advocacy for clients from the first call through the resolution of their case. His interest in litigation and trial work drives him to pursue whatever is necessary to help clients obtain the benefits that are rightfully theirs. Outside of work, James hikes, camps, and works out daily.
