Jay Wechsler

Jay Wechsler is a Partner at Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, a litigation-focused attorney dedicated to representing injured parties in personal injury, Labor Law, medical malpractice, and tort cases.

Wechsler earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School in 2001 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia in 1998. He is admitted to the New York State Bar (2002), the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern (2007), Southern (2007), Northern (2008), and Western (2008) Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (2008).

With over 22 years of experience, Wechsler has been recognized on the New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. His notable settlements include $4.75 million in a construction accident involving electrical shock and a ladder fall.
