James Cunningham

James O. Cunningham has dedicated more than four decades to representing personal injury clients across Central Florida. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Florida Bar since 1984 and earned board certification as a Civil Trial Advocate with the National Board of Trial Advocates in 1985. Martindale-Hubbell awarded him its highest rating for legal ability, ethics, and diligence in 1987, and in 2015 he became a Charter Fellow of the American College of Board Certified Attorneys. In 2021 he was named a Florida Super Lawyer, a designation reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in the state. James is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), having served as President of the Central Florida Chapter and as a member of ABOTA's National Board of Directors from 1999 to 2005. Law Dragon has recognized him as one of the leading plaintiff lawyers in America, a distinction held by fewer than half of one percent of the nation's attorneys. He has served on the boards of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Central Florida and Family First in Tampa.
