About Charla Aldous
Charla G. Aldous founded the firm in 2000 after spending the early part of her career defending businesses and insurance companies. She made a deliberate choice to represent plaintiffs so she could know her clients personally and believe in their cause. Over more than three decades of practice, she has tried more than 200 jury trials and developed a reputation for courtroom advocacy in cases involving birth injury, medical malpractice, product liability, sexual assault, and wrongful death. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the International Society of Barristers. She has been named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America eleven times, ranked among the Top 3 attorneys statewide by Texas Super Lawyers, and listed among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers. Forbes named her the best-in-state personal injury attorney in Texas for 2025. The Dallas Bar Association honored her as a Living Legend, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association presented her its Lifetime Achievement Award.
