About Brad Lee

Brad Lee graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2003. After graduating, he completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Richard H. Battey, United States District Court Judge, in Rapid City. He then joined the firm as an associate attorney, and the firm took on its current name, Beardsley Jensen & Lee, in 2015. Brad's practice focuses on personal injury, workers' compensation, and bad faith insurance claims. Over the years he has held leadership roles in multiple professional and civic organizations. He served as President of the Pennington County Bar Association in 2011, as a member of the Board of Governors of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association beginning in 2011, and as the SDTLA's delegate to the American Association of Justice beginning in 2018. He was also elected to the Board of Bar Commissioners for the State Bar of South Dakota in 2014. In 2011, the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of South Dakota recognized him with the Young Lawyer of the Year Award, and the Pennington County Bar Association nominated him for its Exceptional Lawyer of the Year Award in 2016. Brad has also organized the Seventh Circuit Charity Golf Tournament annually since 2007, helping raise over $60,000 for local charities.
