Background
David B. Lever serves as Of Counsel to Block O'Toole & Murphy and is also Senior Partner at Lever & Ecker, PLLC. He brings more than 30 years of plaintiff personal injury experience to the firm, having always advocated for injured plaintiffs and never for defense or insurance companies. His practice covers motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, construction accidents, workers' compensation, product liability, and medical malpractice. David's understanding of his clients' experiences is deeply personal — he himself suffered a serious neck injury in a motorcycle accident that required spinal surgery, an experience that informs his advocacy. David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ithaca College in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in 1989. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and New Jersey Districts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been named to the Metro New York Super Lawyers list on multiple occasions and to the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in New York by the National Trial Lawyers. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities, Inc. (ACLD).
