About Stephen Ollar
Trial attorney Stephen Ollar is committed to providing clients with the best representation possible. Named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers every year from 2020 to 2025, he focuses on auto accidents, medical malpractice, and general tort claims. Before joining the firm, Stephen clerked for Chief Judge Eric T. Washington of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, sharpening his research and writing abilities and deepening his knowledge of civil and criminal procedure. He also interned with the Public Defender Service of the District of Columbia, the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, the Department of Justice's Commercial Litigation Branch, and an independent criminal defense attorney. Stephen earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2016, graduating magna cum laude, and won the 2015 Peter James Johnson National Civil Rights Trial Competition. Prior to law school, he earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and served honorably as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for six years, deploying twice to Iraq and Afghanistan as an airborne infantryman. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Trial Lawyers Association of Washington, D.C.
