Ryan Watson

After a year practicing in St. Louis, Ryan relocated to Kansas City, where he spent the next 15 years building a distinguished career defending corporations and employers in civil litigation. He spent a decade at a prominent national defense firm, rising to the position of partner. During this time, he specialized in defending insurance companies and product manufacturers in complex claims and litigation across the country. This experience provided him with an in-depth understanding of the strategies, procedures, and operations of large corporations and insurance carriers, insight he now uses to his clients' advantage. In 2016, Ryan made a key career shift, dedicating his practice to advocating for individuals and families who have suffered injury or loss due to the negligence or misconduct of others.

This transition marked a powerful turn toward plaintiff representation, handling the very types of cases he once defended. Today, Ryan represents personal injury clients throughout the Midwest, guiding them through every stage of the legal process, from initial claim to resolution. He also collaborates closely with DM Law's regional offices across several states and plays a key role in handling the firm's most complex and technical cases.
