About Anthony Tanoos

Anthony A. Tanoos is a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in economics from Indiana State University and then earned his Juris Doctor in 1981 from Indiana University's Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Earlier, from 1973 to 1978, Anthony wrote for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star. His practice focuses primarily on Social Security Disability cases, handling approximately 300 hearings per year, and he also represents numerous personal injury clients. Anthony is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Vigo County/Terre Haute City Bar Association. He is active in Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, the American Association for Justice, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), and has been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Outside of practice, Anthony is a past-president of his parish council at St. George's Orthodox Church and donates time to the Hall of Distinction Committee for Terre Haute South High School.
