About Thomas Newlin

Thomas C. Newlin was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana State University in 1971, an M.B.A. from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1973, and then graduated with honors from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1986. Since 1986, Tom has devoted his career to personal injury, Social Security Disability, real estate, and probate law. He is one of the managing partners at Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin and is licensed to practice in all Indiana courts, all federal courts in Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Tom is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Terre Haute Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. A co-founder of the philanthropic group Guys Who Give and a two-time Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club of Terre Haute, Tom has led the firm's community giving across numerous local organizations, including the Wabash Valley United Way (where he chaired the board in 1993) and the American Red Cross.
