David Starshak

David J. Starshak is a partner at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates who has focused on personal injury and workers' compensation since joining the firm in 2013. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, where he was a member of the school's first national-qualifying Trial Team and served as head of the university's judicial system. He attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, graduating cum laude, and competed on the school's national Moot Court team, reaching the top eight teams at the National Moot Court Competition in New York City. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2014 and has been recognized as an Illinois Rising Star from 2020 to 2026.
