About Blake Shuart
Blake Shuart is a trial lawyer admitted in Kansas, Illinois, Florida, and New Jersey who has handled catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims across the country for nearly 20 years. His practice spans car accidents, semi-truck collisions, motorcycle and pedestrian crashes, medical and hospital malpractice, product liability, pharmaceutical mass torts, premises liability, civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. 1983, and aviation disasters, among others. He has resolved well over 500 cases and has appeared in courts in Kansas, Illinois, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, and Rhode Island. Shuart earned a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas (2004) and his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (The John Marshall Law School) (2007), where he received a Dean's Scholarship and top grades in trial advocacy. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named to Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers or Rising Stars every year since 2011. He received the Thomas E. Sullivan Award from the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association in 2017 and currently serves as President-Elect of that organization.
