Eric Hawley

Eric Hawley is a partner at Kherkher Garcia with over 15 years of experience representing individuals against corporate interests. A Dallas native, he earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from UT School of Law as a recipient of the Tom C. Clark Fellows Scholarship. Eric's background in complex commercial litigation on both sides of the courtroom sharpens his ability to anticipate defense strategies. His practice covers catastrophic injuries from trucking collisions, construction incidents, product liability, premises liability, sexual assault cases, and appellate advocacy. In 2025 alone, he worked on cases where Kherkher Garcia recovered over $105 million in settlements and awards, including a $19 million wrongful death settlement for a widow and children of a construction worker and an $11 million settlement for a victim who fell from an aerial lift in Colorado. He also obtained full dismissal of an $80 million trade secret lawsuit against a client in 2024. Eric joined Jesus Garcia in 2014 and helped found Kherkher Garcia in 2019.
