Jesus Garcia Jr. is a founding partner and 25-year trial lawyer at Kherkher Garcia LLP. Born in Rio Grande City, Texas, the first in his family to attend college, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center on an academic scholarship, ranking first in his law school class during his first year. After making partner at Locke Lord LLP, one of the most respected firms in the country, he founded his own plaintiff personal injury firm before co-founding Kherkher Garcia in 2019. He handles trucking crashes, workplace accidents, and oilfield fires and explosions, representing many Spanish-speaking clients. In August 2022, Jesus and Kevin Haynes won a $110 million verdict for a young woman injured in an ATV rollover in Starr County, the largest verdict in that county's history. He has also won an $11.1 million verdict for the widow of a young father killed by a drunk driver, and multiple additional seven-figure results for clients.
