Nathan Lerma

Nathan Lerma is an associate at Kherkher Garcia born in Laredo, Texas and raised in Corpus Christi. Before pursuing law, he worked several years at the Texas State Capitol and in the Texas Senate, witnessing the challenges faced by underrepresented communities. He earned his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law on an accelerated timeline, serving as an Editor for the St. Mary's Law Journal on Race and Social Justice and earning a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Mediation). Nathan also has international experience in Intellectual Property Law in Beijing, China, and prior family law work with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. Since 2019, he has focused on personal injury law, advocating for injured clients to ensure they receive the care and compensation they deserve.
