About Lance Brooks

Lance Brooks is a trial attorney at Mayor Law, LLC with more than a decade of experience handling complex civil litigation in Oregon and Washington, with a strong focus on personal injury claims, premises liability cases, and trial advocacy. He brings experience from both sides of the courtroom: before joining Mayor Law, he founded and operated his own boutique litigation firm handling motor vehicle collisions, slip-and-fall injuries, and civil title disputes, and he previously practiced at Smith Freed Eberhard defending insurance companies and businesses in premises liability and liquor liability cases. That defense background gives him direct insight into how insurers evaluate, defend, and minimize injury claims. Lance has tried cases in both Oregon and Washington and has argued before the Oregon Court of Appeals.

He also completed Multnomah County's Jury Trial Experience Program, prosecuting criminal cases through the District Attorney's Office to sharpen his trial skills. He earned his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating in the top third of his class, and holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Pacific Christian College. Lance has been recognized as an Oregon Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
