John David Simpson

John David Simpson is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School with over 25 years of broad and diverse legal experience, including general business, corporate, real estate, transactions, litigation, and entertainment law. His client list includes small and medium-sized businesses as well as individuals. He was appointed in 2008 as the first African American male Magistrate of the 46th District Court in Oakland County, Michigan, and has previously served as an Administrative Hearing Officer. Most recently, he was a partner at Simpson, Morton and Cross PLLC, a minority-owned law firm in Detroit. He earned his B.S. magna cum laude from Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry.
