About Christopher Welch
Chris was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, a Mississippi River town. Chris is a dedicated attorney with a strong background in trial advocacy and representing people against the government and large insurance companies. After earning a reputation for zealous representation as a public defender in Iowa, Chris transitioned to the public defender office in Colorado Springs Colorado in 2019. Chris left government service in 2021 and has built a solid foundation of legal experience focused on championing the rights of plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He returned to the Midwest with a deep commitment to justice and client advocacy. Chris combines a wealth of courtroom experience with a compassionate approach to legal representation, ensuring that every client's voice is heard, and their rights are vigorously defended. Chris is most recently a 2024 Graduate of the prestigious “Trial Lawyer College,” a three-week intensive trial skills program in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The program taught Chris that the trial lawyers’ power originates from within. In his free time, Chris enjoys gravel biking, mountain biking, and road cycling. He became a certified yoga instructor in 2015 and has taught yoga to all different types of people - including lawyers and judges! He also loves to hike with his yellow lab, Farley. He rescue
