
About Steven Gordon
Steven Gordon co-founded Shaheen & Gordon in 1981 after arriving in New Hampshire in 1974 as a law clerk to Federal District Court Judge Hugh H. Bownes. He then served as legal counsel to U.S. Senator John A. Durkin (1976 to 1977) and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire, working alongside Bill Shaheen. He earned his B.A. from American University in 1971 and his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 1974. His practice focuses on complex civil and federal litigation, white-collar criminal defense, business disputes, and First Amendment cases. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America and as a New England Super Lawyer for more than 20 consecutive years.
