About Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is a native of Northern Utah who earned his J.D. from the University of Utah. He began his legal career at Garretson Law Firm and Resolution Group, a national firm handling large settlement claims, where he became the lead attorney on employment health insurance recovery and Medicare and Medicaid rights issues, publishing articles in legal publications and training attorneys nationwide on protecting clients' healthcare coverage. In 2009, he joined Siegfried & Jensen to focus on direct client representation in Utah. He serves as one of the firm's lead trial attorneys, representing clients injured by truck drivers, roadway construction companies, general contractors, reckless drivers, and insurers that deny coverage. In 2010, he joined a team of attorneys appointed as Special Assistant Attorneys General to help the State of Utah recover funds from drug companies that defrauded the Medicaid program, contributing appellate briefing that resulted in a unanimous Utah Supreme Court decision in the state's favor.
