About Kelley Simoneaux
Kelley Brooks Simoneaux is Of Counsel at Stewart Miller Simmons Trial Attorneys and leads the firm's Washington, D.C. office. A nationally recognized attorney and disability rights advocate, she has secured major recoveries on behalf of individuals with spinal cord injuries and other catastrophic harms. She is the founder of The Spinal Cord Injury Law Firm, PLLC, and is the first woman with a spinal cord injury to establish a law firm focused on helping those after a catastrophic event. Paralyzed at age 16 in a car wreck, her personal experience drives her advocacy both in and out of the courtroom. She founded Wheel2Ride to improve rideshare accessibility for people with mobility disabilities, serves on multiple boards, advises government agencies on disability rights, and works to advance adaptive sports, including efforts to make Adaptive Boxing a Paralympic event.
