About Alani Golanski
Alani Golanski is a partner and Director of the Appellate Litigation Unit at Weitz & Luxenberg, where he oversees complex appellate matters in asbestos-exposure and environmental toxic-tort cases. He brings an unusually deep academic background to the practice: in addition to his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law (1986), he holds an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law (2003, James Kent Scholar) and an M.A. in philosophy from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (2004). He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity College in 1983. Golanski is admitted in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, before the U.S. Supreme Court, and before multiple federal circuit courts including the First, Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, and Federal Circuits.
