Laura Baughman

Laura J. Baughman is a partner in the Drugs and Medical Devices unit at Weitz & Luxenberg, where she focuses on mass-tort pharmaceutical and medical-device litigation. Before law, she earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (1990 and 1991), giving her technical engineering knowledge she applies to product-liability cases. She received her J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1994. Baughman is admitted in New York, California, Missouri, and Texas, before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits, and before multiple U.S. District Courts across those states.
