About Anjelika Abrahamyan
Anjelika Abrahamyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and moved to Toronto, Canada at age fourteen. She received a bachelor's degree in criminology and sociolegal studies from the University of Toronto in 2007. She then studied law at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School from 2010 to 2013, where she received the Raymond Burr Award for academic excellence in criminal law, earned dean's list and honor roll recognition, received certificates of merit in criminal law and Canadian administrative law, and graduated cum laude. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County. Abrahamyan joined William Mattar's legal team in 2014. She is trilingual, fluent in Russian and Armenian, and is able to represent Russian-speaking clients.
