About Lucas Cranwell
Lucas A. Cranwell was born and raised in Hampshire, England, and his family relocated to Dayton, Ohio in 1998 before settling in Buffalo. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Buffalo State College in 2012, where he also played on the men's rugby team, then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2017, receiving the Dean's Scholarship and certificates of merit in tort law and criminal law. During law school he was appointed law clerk to the Chief Federal Judge of the Western District of New York and served as Class President and Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association. He was admitted to practice in New York in 2018 and is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association.
