About Heather Jankowiak
Heather Jankowiak, originally from Clarence, NY, graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, then earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2019, where she was a member of the Albany Law Review and served as Executive Editor for Notes and Comments. Before joining William Mattar, she gained experience as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Lackawanna and worked at firms specializing in personal injury, commercial litigation, and estate administration. She was also a judicial intern for Hon. John C. Egan, Jr. in the Appellate Division, Third Department, and authored a publication in the 82nd volume of the Albany Law Review. Her decision to pursue law was influenced by her father's 40-year legal career. She is admitted in New York State and the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.
