Sara Wallitt

Sara T. Wallitt graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in 2003 with a double major in economics and political science, and a Certificate of Managerial Studies with a concentration in public policy analysis from the Simon Business School. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2006, where she was a member of the Criminal Law Review and the Buffalo Journal of Gender, Law and Social Policy. After clerking at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York and at other firms, she was admitted in New York in 2007. She joined William Mattar in January 2011 as a litigation attorney. Over her career she has tried more than twenty cases before civil juries and is experienced in mediation and arbitration. She was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2015 and has received recognition from the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
