About Charles Hehmeyer
For more than thirty-five years, Chuck Hehmeyer has maintained a national practice representing both children and adults in a broad array of medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. He is the only lawyer in the country who regularly represents families of children who have suffered avoidable injuries from metabolic diseases, inborn errors of metabolism, and other genetic conditions. He also represents clients in serious trucking and motor vehicle crash cases, including cases involving gun violence. Chuck graduated from Ohio State University and earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Prior to joining Berman & Simmons, he was a partner at Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer in Philadelphia, where he managed a highly respected medical malpractice legal team. He has served as lead counsel in significant cases in 24 states nationwide and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
