Samuel L. Davis is a founding partner of Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C. and is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of New Jersey lawyers. He represents clients in personal injury matters throughout New Jersey and New York and has achieved some of the largest reported verdicts and settlements in New Jersey history, including recognition by the New Jersey Law Journal as achieving the highest reported settlement or jury verdict for the 2022-2023 court term. In 2026, Davis secured a $27 million out-of-court settlement in New York, and in 2024 settled a medical malpractice case for $11.5 million. He co-founded the firm in 1988 alongside Marc C. Saperstein and Garry R. Salomon. A Bergen County native and graduate of Tufts University and Rutgers School of Law-Camden, Davis began his career as a judicial law clerk in Bergen County Superior Court before entering private practice. He is a past chairman of the American Association for Justice Medical Device Product Liability group and has lectured at legal seminars for the New Jersey Association for Justice for decades. Davis is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and has tried cases across the country as special pro hac vice counsel.
