About Steven Benvenisti
Steven Benvenisti is a partner at Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C. and is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of licensed New Jersey lawyers. He brings a unique personal perspective to his practice: at age 21, while a college student, he was struck by a repeat drunk driver while crossing a street and suffered multiple fractures, fifteen surgeries, and a traumatic brain injury that required over six months of hospitalization. After his recovery, he became a personal injury attorney to advocate for others who have experienced similar trauma. Benvenisti authored the biography 'Spring Break: A Story of Hope and Determination' (2012) and lectures internationally about his medical and legal journey. He currently serves as a MADD National Ambassador and as Chair of the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania MADD chapters, having previously served as Vice-Chair of the MADD National Board of Directors. He has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer for over 15 consecutive years and recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Benvenisti graduated Magna Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in 1993, after which he served as a law clerk to a New Jersey Superior Court judge.
