About Henry Monti
Henry S. Monti is an associate attorney at Gemma Law Associates, Inc. and a board-certified civil trial expert. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Henry earned his undergraduate degree cum laude as a member of the honors program at Providence College in 1979, then received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1982 as a St. Thomas More Scholar. He began his legal career as a public defender and later served as a special assistant attorney general, where he tried more than 30 jury cases over two years, including four involving homicides. That experience gave him the trial preparation skills and courtroom presence he has relied on throughout his career. For more than two decades at Gemma Law Associates, Inc., Henry has represented personal injury victims in automobile accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall cases, and wrongful death claims. He serves as past president of the Rhode Island Association for Justice and received their Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also served on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice and is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. He has been licensed to practice in Rhode Island since 1982 and is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court. Outside of law, Henry serves on the Board of Governors for Narragansett 2100 and received their Outstanding Service award.
