About Mark Gemma
Mark W. Gemma is a principal at Gemma Law Associates, Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island. With a father and brother already practicing law together at the firm, Mark knew exactly what he was getting into when he decided to become a personal injury lawyer. He watched his father, Alfred Gemma, practice for decades and saw firsthand how many people the firm helped. After earning his B.A. from Boston College in 1994, he went on to Roger Williams School of Law, obtaining his J.D. in 1997. He then joined the family firm. Mark has become a recognized attorney in his own right, receiving the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell in December 2009, the highest recognition of its kind from that organization. He was named the 2008 Rhode Island Rising Star for Personal Injury Plaintiff cases in the Rhode Island Super Lawyers. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers for 15 consecutive years. In addition to serving as President of the Rhode Island Association for Justice, Mark is the President of the Council of Presidents for the American Association for Justice. His practice covers personal injury, car accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, motorcycle accidents, and related claims throughout Rhode Island.
