Theresa Laughlin

Theresa B. Laughlin is an attorney at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., practicing in the firm's Wausau, Rhinelander, and Stevens Point offices. She joined the firm in 2008 after working as an advocate for injured people since completing law school.

Laughlin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1995 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. She is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Laughlin has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is a member of the Marathon County and Portage County Bar Associations and a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. She is active in the Wisconsin Association for Justice, serving on its Board of Directors and speaking at seminars. She also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of CASA of Marathon County. Her honors include selection as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer since 2014 and inclusion in Best Lawyers in America since 2024.
