Jay Sizemore

Jay Sizemore is a personal injury attorney at Patterson Legal Group with over 20 years of litigation experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kansas State University and his Juris Doctor from Washburn Law School in 2001. He is licensed to practice in Kansas state and federal courts and has tried over 50 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials, with several arguments before the Kansas Court of Appeals. Before joining the firm, Jay worked at a prominent Kansas law firm specializing in personal injury cases, particularly car accidents, and also served as both a criminal prosecutor and defense attorney, building substantial courtroom experience.

Jay comes from a family of attorneys: he was the third generation to work at Sizemore, Burns and Gillmore LLC in Newton, Kansas, following his grandfather Herb Sizemore and uncle Mike Sizemore. His father Hadley Sizemore practices in McPherson, Kansas, his wife Erin Sizemore practices in Wichita, and his uncle Patrick Sizemore practices in California. He is a member of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, Kansas Bar Association, and Wichita Bar Association.
