About Kayla Clark
Kayla Clark is a personal injury attorney at Patterson Legal Group who began her career as a legal aid attorney at Kansas Legal Services, where she represented survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in divorce, child custody, and protection order proceedings, and advised hundreds of self-represented litigants in courthouse self-help centers. Since joining the firm, Kayla has built a strong reputation in the Topeka community. She received the 2025 Topeka Bar Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and was among 12 attorneys selected statewide for the 2026 Kansas Bar Association Leadership Institute. Kayla graduated from Washburn University School of Law with a Pro Bono Certificate with Distinction, having completed over 100 hours of legal aid work; she also earned a Family Law Certificate and participated in the Washburn Law Litigation Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University. Kayla is a member of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Women's Attorney Association of Topeka, and the LGBTQ Bar Association of Greater Kansas City.
