Mary Beth Boyce

Mary Beth Boyce is a partner at Schmidt Salita Law Team with over 12 years of experience in personal injury and workers' compensation law. She is a graduate of Creighton University and the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Mary Beth is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group. She has been recognized multiple times as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. She has argued before the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and Minnesota Supreme Court, and has litigated jury trials, workers' compensation hearings, and PERA/MSRS and Healthcare Continuation administrative law hearings. Mary Beth has spoken at medical residency programs, legal continuing education seminars, and to law enforcement and firefighter groups, and has worked on legislation to provide additional legal protections for first responders who contracted COVID. A portion of her practice is dedicated to assisting first responders, including with cancer, cardiac, and mental health claims. She recently resolved three separate personal injury cases each valued at $1.5 million or more within a 12-month period.
