About James Plastiras
James Plastiras is an asbestos attorney at Sokolove Law, helping families affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases pursue justice and compensation. He was drawn to this area of law in part by his own family history: his grandfather, a machinist during World War II, died from an illness caused by toxic occupational exposures. Over the past decade, James has secured millions of dollars for clients across the country, often resolving cases through settlement so clients can receive compensation without going to trial. He takes time to get to know each client personally, ensuring they feel supported and informed from their initial call through the resolution of their claim. James is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. with distinction. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars.
