
About Michael Breaux
Michael Breaux is a partner at Sokolove Law with more than 18 years at the firm and over three decades of legal experience helping injured individuals and their families pursue compensation and benefits. He is committed to helping injured and disabled workers secure the benefits they need, including representing clients in Social Security Disability and other disability-related claims, and has helped more than 10,000 clients navigate the disability claims process. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating with honors, before earning his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While in law school, he practiced as a student attorney licensed under the Louisiana Supreme Court in the Loyola Law Clinic, where he worked on personal injury cases and other legal matters. Alongside his legal career, Michael spent years working in high-risk industrial environments and holds a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist designation, giving him firsthand knowledge of industrial safety standards and how injuries affect a worker's ability to perform their job.
