About Chad Owens

Chad Owens joined Taylor King Law in 2024 after a career that took an unconventional path to plaintiff personal injury work. Before law school, he worked as an x-ray and CT technician in a hospital emergency department, then as a freelance journalist, and later as an administrative assistant for the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission. After earning his J.D. from William H. Bowen School of Law in 2013, Chad spent eight years in insurance defense, banking, creditor's rights, and probate before spending two years as a public defender in criminal court. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences and from Hendrix College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Chad is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and Craighead County Bar Association.
