Mike Rainwater

Mike Rainwater has practiced law in Arkansas since 1980, helping over 30,000 Arkansans across more than 6,000 cases. Born in Little Rock with roots in Crawford and White counties, he graduated from North Little Rock High School, attended Henderson State University and Louisiana Tech, then earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1979 while working full time. After law school, he returned to Arkansas to serve as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and for over 31 years helped create and litigate for the Association of Arkansas Counties Risk Management Fund, representing county officials statewide. He also represented cities through the Arkansas Municipal League Defense Fund. In 2006, he co-founded Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, which has since grown to over 40 attorneys and 125 team members. He is licensed to practice in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
