About Eric Wewers

Eric Wewers graduated from the UALR School of Law in 1990 and moved to Dallas, where he joined DeHay & Blanchard before co-founding DeHay & Elliston in 1992, trying cases across Texas. On January 1, 2001, he left that partnership to open the Texas office for Wilkes & McHugh, representing nursing home abuse and neglect victims in Texas and Arkansas. He returned to Little Rock in October 2002 and opened The Law Offices of Eric D. Wewers in November 2003. He has served as General Counsel for St. Joseph Helpers since 2008 and for Arkansas Right to Life since 2004.

He later worked of counsel at ReddickMoss before joining Rainwater, Holt & Sexton. He is licensed in Arkansas and Texas. In his career, his nursing home abuse and neglect settlements have totaled in excess of $25 million.
