Mike Valen

Mike Valen is a litigation attorney at Boohoff Law licensed in Florida, with 20 years of plaintiff personal injury experience. The son of a military family, he grew up living all over the world including three years in Tokyo. He earned his bachelor's degree in German from St. Olaf College, then served as a commissioned Naval Officer, flying the F-14 Tomcat with Fighter Squadron 14 aboard the USS John F. Kennedy and later serving as a flight instructor.

He attended the University of Florida College of Law and also studied for a year at Florida State University College of Law on scholarship, where he was published in the FSU Law Review. He began his legal career in workers' compensation before transitioning to plaintiff personal injury law, where he has served as a lead trial attorney in jury trials across Florida. Mike resides in Apollo Beach.
