Stephanie Mills

Stephanie J. Mills is a trial attorney at Gideon Asen LLC representing individuals in complex, high-stakes personal injury cases. She brings two decades of legal experience to the firm, including prior service as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at InterMed, where she led contracting, compliance, and enterprise-wide risk management and advised senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Her executive-level healthcare experience gives her deep insight into how medical organizations evaluate exposure and navigate litigation. After years advising institutions, Stephanie returned to representing individuals, applying her institutional knowledge to pursue accountability when standards of care are not met. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Environmental Science from Tufts University and her J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where she was News Editor of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal and a student member of the Gignoux Inn of Court. She is admitted in Maine, Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
