About John Edwards
John T. 'Johnnie' Edwards is managing partner at Hepworth Holzer and has worked in personal injury litigation for more than 35 years. He began his legal career representing insurers at a large Boise firm, work that included defense of physician malpractice claims and insurance coverage disputes. In 1992, he founded his own firm focused on representing injured people, then joined Hepworth Holzer. He holds an AV Preeminent peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Super Lawyers. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Idaho in 1984 and his J.D., with honors, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1990. He speaks fluent Spanish. For 13 years he taught law-related courses as an adjunct professor at Boise State University. His approach centers on thorough case presentation to insurance adjusters, aiming to reach fair settlements without unnecessary litigation. When cases proceed to trial, he joins forces with his partners.
