About Morgan Adams
Morgan Adams is a United States Marine Corps veteran with over 22 years of service, having reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He received his B.A. in Government and International Affairs from Bowdoin College in 1985 and his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 1989. After leaving active military duty, he joined the litigation firm of Hatfield, VanCleave, Akers and Adams as a partner, then founded Truck Wreck Justice in 1997 to focus exclusively on serious commercial vehicle crashes. He is board certified in both civil trial advocacy and truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Trucking Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice in 2012 as its first and only recipient to that date. He is a six-time Tennessee Super Lawyer and a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which requires a history of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. He has served as chair of the AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group and is a longstanding board member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. He is licensed in Tennessee, Georgia, Washington, and South Dakota.
