About Carmen Wierenga

Carmen Wierenga is a bicyclist and motorcyclist originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of Minnesota in 2011, after which she focused on policy and city planning and volunteered with transportation advocacy organizations in the Twin Cities. Carmen relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2013, earned a Paralegal Studies Certificate from San Francisco State University, and joined Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers as a paralegal in 2016.

She completed her J.D. at Golden Gate University School of Law in May 2021 and was licensed by the California Bar in December 2021. Her background in transportation advocacy and her experience as both a bicyclist and motorcyclist give her a hands-on perspective on the types of accidents her clients face. Outside of work, she explores new places on motorcycles, plays drums, and enjoys science fiction.
