Stephanie Schommer

Stephanie J. Schommer is a partner at Schmidt Salita Law Team with 25 years of experience with the firm, starting as a legal assistant and practicing as an attorney for the past 17 years. She is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the William Mitchell College of Law. Stephanie has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 lawyer and is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. She serves on the board of Gilda's Club of Minnesota and has been appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court as an Arbitrator for Minnesota No-Fault Arbitrations. Stephanie has been part of the legal team that recovered $3 million in a wrongful death case and helped secure a $3.2 million jury verdict in a medical malpractice case that prevailed through proceedings at the Hennepin County District Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and Minnesota Supreme Court. She has extensive experience representing victims of traumatic brain injuries and concussion injuries resulting from car accidents and other events. She has spoken at continuing legal education seminars for the Minnesota Association of Justice on wrongful death claims.
