About Paul Cannon
Paul H. Cannon joined Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. in 1995 immediately after earning his law degree from South Texas College of Law. He earned Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law from the Texas State Board of Legal Specialization in 2005, a credential he has maintained since. Paul holds a 10/10 rating on Avvo.com and a 5.0 AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been named a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters continuously since 2017. Paul earned his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Texas before attending law school, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honorary Legal Fraternity and appeared on the Dean's List. Known for his client-centered approach, he focuses on understanding the full impact of an injury on a client's life before presenting the case to a jury. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Christianity in Business at Houston Christian University and for Katy Cares, Inc. He received the Outstanding Mentor Award from the Houston Young Lawyers Association in 2020. Paul has authored articles in the Texas Bar Journal, AttorneyatWork.com, and Business.com, and has spoken as a faculty expert on dog bite and car accident law for national CLE providers.
