About Sharon Simmons-Cantrell

Sharon Simmons-Cantrell has been with Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. since 1991, when she first joined as an intern under her uncle, founder Robert S. Simmons. She litigated cases at the firm from 1991 to 1995, then took over the pre-litigation division, where she has successfully resolved 80% of all pre-litigation files. Sharon is known for the time and care she gives each client, whether they have physical disabilities, limited education, or simply need someone to listen.

She assists clients with services that extend beyond legal matters, connecting them with food banks, medical providers, emergency funding, and childcare when needed. Sharon earned her B.S. in Psychology with honors from Texas A&M University in 1988 and her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1991. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters from 2024 to 2026 and has held a 10/10 rating on Avvo.com.
