About Darren Tobin

Darren Tobin founded Tobin Injury Law in 2019 after years of trial practice in Georgia, including at a prior firm where he obtained headline verdicts. He earned a B.A. magna cum laude and a J.D. from the University of Georgia, where he was a student-athlete tutor, served on the Moot Court Board and Honor Court, and was a National Moot Court Semifinalist. After law school he began his career at a family law firm to build courtroom experience quickly, trying his first bench trial weeks before his classmates were sworn in. He later focused on personal injury litigation and built a record of significant verdicts and settlements.

In 2022 he won a two-week federal jury trial resulting in a $100 million verdict for a civil rights violation, described as one of the largest in U.S. history for such a claim, and set the record for the highest settlement in a rural Georgia county that same year. In 2023 he settled a disputed-liability wrongful death trucking case for $22.7 million after the case had been turned down by two other firms. In 2024 he obtained a $1.6 million jury verdict that set the Georgia record for a bicycle-on-bicycle accident and a $2.5 million verdict in a hotel injury case.

He holds an AV Preeminent Peer and Judicial Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been named a Super Lawyer (Top 100 in 2026) and a Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine, and is listed in U.S. News Best Lawyers. He is Founder and President of the Jewish Bar Association of Georgia and serves on the Atlanta Bar Association CLE Board of Directors. He coaches his three sons in youth baseball, basketball, and soccer.
